The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is a global professional body endorsing and carrying out the highest international ethics in the valuation, management and development of land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. RICSRICS headquarter is in London with its main support functions in Birmingham. There are regional offices in the United Kingdom, across mainland Europe, in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, North America and Brazil.

RICS SBE in India is housed in two states- one in Amity University- Noida, and second in Amity University- Mumbai.

RICS involves members to update their knowledge and ability during their working life through ongoing professional growth.

  • Fellows may use "FRICS" after their names.

How to become an MRICS?

Once you have accomplished an accredited degree, the next step is to get a job as a trainee. In order to become a member of RICS (MRICS) you need to complete your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) which includes completing a period of structured training with an employer. Structured training generally takes between two to three years and comprises of on-the-job learning and assessment.
