It is truly a matter of legitimate pride to share that the students of RCS SBE could make it to the list of top 10 teams of finalists among a total of 53 entries worldwide for the prestigious international competition, Argus “University Challenge 2021”. Shiwani Bhosale (MBA REUI -2020-2022), Yash Soni (MBA REUI -2020-2022), Omkar Teli (MBA REUI 2020-2022), and Vinay Kumar Meda (MBA CPM 2020-2022) made it possible with their brilliant team partnership and efforts.

Each year, ARGUS hosts a "University Challenge" in which several universities from around the world compete. Teams of potential real estate professionals are asked to deliver a paper with the best investment analysis and conclusion for a hypothetical real estate opportunity, supported by a participating professor.

“Our journey started under the guidance of Prof. Navneet Sharma. We applied all our learning from our academic curriculum, the knowledge we gained from the subjects like Accounts and Finance, Principles of asset valuation, Real estate market research and project development, the economics of built environments, helped us in producing a quality output for the challenge. With baby steps, we went ahead with the challenge deliverables. The mantra we followed was ‘Learn, Unlearn and Relearn’. Prof. Navneet Sharma led us and addressed the challenges we encountered when working on the task. His up-to-date software skills were very beneficial to us.

We all had a certain set of skills individually in our team which made our team stronger and the level of understanding we shared was phenomenal. We are immensely proud that we could make it to the top 10 finalists globally representing RICS SBE, Amity University,  for the ARGUS University Challenge 2021.”- Shiwani Bhosale, Yash Soni, Omkar Teli and Vinay Kumar Meda.
