I am a post-graduate from the School of Real Estate. I have been placed with JLL in their strategic consulting division. My journey with RICS SBE has been fulfilling in many ways, on both professional and personal fronts.
The institute is led by industry professionals that help cater to the ever-growing needs of the sector. The course structure, faculty and Industry mentors effectively contributed to the development of my skills that made them relevant in today’s competitive environment. One of the best programs in the institute is the mentor-mentee program. I benefited a lot from the constant guidance of my faculty mentors. To put placements into perspective, it would only be right to acknowledge the efforts of our placement team as they bring the best opportunities to the students, the pre-placement clinics organised help equip the students with the soft skills that are in - demand in our industry.
My advice to the future batches of RICS SBE would be to capitalise on all programs that the institute offers, from being a part of societies to contributing effectively to industry collaborative initiatives and to do the best with the opportunities that come your way.
